Project Update

• 9月20日 2009: Foswiki 1.0.7 正式发布。相对于1.0.0版本，除了一部分增强功能，1.0.7版本修复了超过190个bug。该版本还修复了一些由于CSRF引起的危险漏洞，还包括1.0.6的Redirect Cache修复。增强功能方面，通过将Tiny MCE编辑器升级到3.2.2，很多在编辑模式下困扰人们的问题也已被修复。
• 09 Sep 2009: The Foswiki Association was founded. Read more details on our blog.
• 21 Jun 2009: Foswiki Release 1.0.6 has been released. This 3rd patch release includes 47 bug fixes and 6 enhancements including a major enhancement in cross-site scripting prevention that closes an important security hole identified by the Red Hat security team. Furthermore we have worked with the 'Pootle' team to create a new translation framework that makes it much easier to contribute user interface translations to new languages.
• 29 Apr 2009: Security Alert - Foswiki Page View Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)?. Fixed in Foswiki Release 1.0.5.
• 25 Apr 2009: Foswiki 1.0.5 has been released. This 2nd patch release includes 29 bug fixes and 4 minor enhancements. The release contains important security improvements and is highly recommended. Upgrade packages are provided for easy and swift upgrading.
• 01 Apr 2009: Foswiki and other Wiki project collaborate on "FunWiki"?
• 19 Mar 2009: Foswiki 1.0.4 has been released? with more than 100 bug fixes and some small enhancements. Upgrading is highly recommended. For TWiki users: note Foswiki 1.0.4 fixes about 300 bugs from TWiki 4.2.4.
• 01 Mar 2009: We have created some video tutorials for new Foswiki users? in English and German.
• 31 Jan 2009: We found a couple of small bugs that need fixing nevertheless; see Known Issues of Foswiki 1.0.0?.
• 14 Jan 2009: The community is hoping for some more coverage in news portals and starts to prepare the next release.
• 09 Jan 2009: We kept our schedule and released Foswiki 1.0.0 on January the 9th?.
• 04 Jan 2009: We are happy to announce that Foswiki 1.0.0 stable will be released on the 9th Jan 2009
• 03 Jan 2009: Foswiki introduces first VM for Foswiki?. Easy installation without knowledge of Foswiki or the OS.
• 02 Jan 2009: Foswiki community wishes happy new year with the release of 1.0.0 beta 3. Beta 3 mainly contains bug fixes from intensive testing on the Windows platform.
• 29 Dec 2008: Second beta release of Foswiki 1.0.0 is available for download. It addresses some important bugs and a security issue related to passwords copied to home topic when you register.
• 27 Dec 2008: First beta release of Foswiki 1.0.0 is available for download. It is quite stable but we still have some hardening of the code we want to do, and we desperately need people to test our beta 1.
• 14 Dec 2008: 8 weeks hard work and we are looking forward to release in December 2008.
• 1 Dec 2008: over 1100 commits to subversion, nightly builds have begun to work intermittently.
• 19 Nov 2008: The hard work of rebranding continues; the trunk codebase is all complete, and the work has ended up with a bonus - a couple of unexpected bugfixes, and a small performance enhancement. Plugins from TWiki.org have been installed and proven to work.
• 18 Nov 2008: As a community we decided on our new name: Foswiki - Free and Open Source Wiki.
• 16 Nov 2008: Thanks to a huge effort from community members, we have removed commercial trademarks from the core documentation. Next step is a compatibility module to make life for existing users as easy as possible.
• 10 Nov 2008: We have set up the code infrastructure, including a Tasks? web to monitor bugs and features, live copies of trunk and the release branch and nightly builds.
• 09 Nov 2008: We have set up the Support web to answer questions.
• On the TWiki-Website you couldn't easily see what the software was really like. No marketing section with description of features, screenshots and such. This will be different with Foswiki. See the first draft and enhance it with text.?
• We are actively trying to bring new community members on board and raise money for the project?.
